Today I planned a carb-load meal for the evening, so I kept my carbs low for the first part of the day.
Eggs are part of my diet only two or three times a month, but yesterday I picked up three dozen organic eggs a couple of days from their use by date; I know they're good for a month or so at 4°C, so I bought them at less than half the usual price.  Huw will have them if I don't.

6:00am
100g (raw wt) of kangaroo left over from last night - with my morning coffee

10:00am
3 eggs in an omelette with the remainder (60g raw wt) of last night's kanga
avocado 165g
broccoli 24g raw and 350g lightly boiled
celery 200g
cress 56g
lettuce 30g
mushrooms 46g
snow peas 90g
olive oil 16ml

11:30am
celery 300g

Up to this point the running total was:
Protein: 34%  Fat: 56%  Carbs: 10% (26g carbs)- providing a total of 1099 calories

7:00pm
I baked the following four items in a covered casserole. No fat added:
taro 136g
parsnip 92g
sweet potato 238g
pumpkin 152g

After the starches, I rounded off the meal with the following seasonal fruits:
apple 304g
apricot 100g
jackfruit 348g
lychee 32g
mandarin 240g
pineapple 400g

The 7:00pm meal gave me:
Protein: 6%  Fat: 4%  Carbs: 91% (286g carbs) - providing a total of 1420 calories

The tally for the full day was:
Protein: 18%  Fat: 26%  Carbs: 56% (312g carbs) - providing 2519 calories
